About GSA

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is the representative student government of all of UC Davis' academic graduate and management students.

The GSA Office is located on the second floor of the South Silo (see map for details). The stairs up are near the Law Bookstore.

The office hours are as follows:

Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thursday: CLOSED
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As of Fall 2007, our membership was 4194 graduate students and 461 management students. All of our members pay a compulsory $12 per student per quarter fee, which funds all of GSA's operations.

UC Davis has other professional students who are not represented by GSA:

• Law Students are represented by the officially recognized Law Students Association
  

• Medical Students have representative class groups
  

• Veterinary Students are represented by the SCAVMA, which is recognized by the campus but not the UC Regents.

When the School of Nursing opens, nursing students will become members of GSA.
