Coffee-Bagel-Donut Day is a very popular weekly event hosted by the Graduate Student Association. Graduate students are welcome to come to the GSA Office to enjoy free coffee, bagels and donuts every Friday 9:00-11:00 am. It is a great opportunity to eat some free food while you socialize with your fellow graduate students, relax and play a round of foosball on the GSA's new table.
The GSA has reinstituted a program aimed at reducing the amount of waste produced at CBDD. If you bring your own coffee mug and show it to the PRO or Assistant PRO, you will receive a ticket to enter a drawing to win a $5 gift certificate to the UCD Bookstore. One grad student will win each week. If you do not have a mug to bring along, ask for one, as the GSA has received an order of promotional travel mugs that they are giving away while supplies last!
