The Executive Council (EC) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the GSA. The EC is composed of a Chair, External Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations Officer and Campus Organizing Director, all of which serve a one year term beginning July 1. The Graduate Student Assistant to the Dean and Chancellor serves as a ex officio, non-voting member of the EC. As executive officers of the GSA, the EC administers all programs, events, and meetings of the General Assembly. The Assembly in turn reviews all actions of the Executive Council and is responsible for disseminating all information presented at the meetings to their constituents.
The GSA Office Coordinator works under the direction of the EC and implements many programs.

Executive Council Minutes
The Executive Council meets regularly in between monthly GA meetings to prepare GA meeting agendas, organize GSA projects and activities, follow-up on advocacy items and at times formulate positions on behalf of the GA. The EC supervises paid staff and per legal requirements personnel issues are not included in the posted minutes.
