Executive Council

The Executive Council (EC) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the GSA. The EC is composed of a Chair, External Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations Officer and Campus Organizing Director, all of which serve a one year term beginning July 1. The Graduate Student Assistant to the Dean and Chancellor serves as a ex officio, non-voting member of the EC. As executive officers of the GSA, the EC administers all programs, events, and meetings of the General Assembly. The Assembly in turn reviews all actions of the Executive Council and is responsible for disseminating all information presented at the meetings to their constituents.

The GSA Office Coordinator works under the direction of the EC and implements many programs.

Kathryn Kolesar is serving in her first term on the Executive Council as the GSA Chair. She was previously in the position of GSA Public Relations Officer for 2010-2011.

Adam Costanzo is serving his fourth term on the Executive Council, currently in his second term as GSA Vice Chair. He was previously in the position of Campus Organizing Director for 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.
