This is a sub-lease opportunity on-campus for 1 bedroom in a 4BR, 2BA townhouse apartment at The Colleges at La Rue. You would take over my lease which runs until Aug. 31 2010 and have the option to renew the lease for the next school year. Rent is $607 a month per person and we split utilities, cable, and shared items which works out to $20-40/month (electric is really cheap b/c we're on the university's grid); the grand total per month is usually $625-ish. To move in, first and last month's rent as well as a $150 deposit are required.

The move-in date is entirely flexible and dependent on the sublettor. The current roommates would prefer to have a female graduate student or post-doc roommate. The apartment is tidy, friendly, nicely maintained and well-respected by all housemates. We have nice-sized bedrooms that easily fit a queen bed with lots of light and our own sinks in one of the two shared bathrooms.

Rooms Available in Downtown Davis Student Household

We're a group of (mostly) graduate students who share space together in a large Downtown Davis home. Our house has five bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and plenty of common space. We eat dinners together multiple times per week and purchase food staples on our house budget. In addition to purchased food our garden is producing substantial amounts of fresh produce which is the result of shared garden responsibilities. This is not a co-op per-say although we do have cooperative tenancies domestically. (cleaning, upkeep, cooking, etc.)

The house ~
Wood floors on first floor (3 bedrooms/1.5 bath). Kitchen, dining room, living room (fireplace), 2 decks, large garden/backyard, front porch, citrus trees. Second floor has two bedrooms (carpeted), bathroom, and a large loft space that we use to host guests. There is also a large basement which we use as a library/study which has multiple desks, lounge chairs, etc. The house has a lot of space and we're happy to accommodate your furniture and or visions for making the space feel like home.

We have bunnies and ducks in our garden and would consider other animals who live outside only.

There are two openings at the house with the possibility of a shared room or single room ($350, $550 respectively). Utilities run about $40 per month which includes power, internet, & food staples (amazing ... hey?!)

I am a male graduate student at UC Davis looking for up to two people to share a duplex in North Davis. Ideally, you will also want to stay on through next year (the new lease begins on August 15th). The total rent is $1650, so I would be paying $650 of this for the master bedroom (this split is negotiable). If only one person moves in then we would split the rent equally (825 each) and you would get both of the other rooms. I'm also considering moving out at the end of the lease (may be moving out of state) so it would be great if I could find two or more people to take this place over in August.

The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex is about 2 miles from the UCD campus, is close to Safeway and Save Mart, and has easy access to the green belt. The rest of the duplex has an open floor plan with an indoor garden and koi pond. There is also a small garage which isn't really useful for housing a vehicle, but it is a great storage space. There is a washer and dryer in the duplex. The bedrooms are on an outside wall (not the shared wall) and the neighbors are very quiet anyway. There is a large skylight in the living room that provides lots of natural light. Both bathrooms also have skylights. The kitchen appliances are all relatively new (the oven and stove was replaced two years ago).

The photos show only one of the bedrooms, but the other one is about the same size. I can also email a few more photos if you contact me. Cats are allowed, though it will take a small amount of negotiation with the owner.

Two rooms are opening up in my house in west Davis, about a 15 minute bike ride from the A st side of campus. One will be available June1st (this is negotiable, could be later), the other on September 1st. They are both identical 11x11 rooms. Rent is $500 per month. Bills (water/sewer/trash, internet, phone, power) run between $50 and $100 per month. As far as pets go, a cat would be ok but dogs aren't allowed. The house has cable internet, a washer and dryer, and a garage which is used for storage. There are 2 bathrooms, one of which you would be sharing with whomever rents the other room.
As for me, I'm a 30 year old UCD grad student. I am pretty easy going, and the only things I expect from housemates are what I would think of as the normal stuff: a) pay bills on time b) clean up after yourself and help me clean up the house very few weeks c) don't be a jerk.

Hello, I'm looking for a roommate for next school year! The apt is great for sharing - each room has its own sink/vanity area, good sized closet, and built in desk/dresser thing. The location is great - just blocks from downtown shops etc, 2 blocks from Co-op, buses stop right in front of building, ample parking, close to community park/greenbelt, public library... I could go on. About me: I'm a 26 yr old female, second year vet student. I have lived with lots of roommates and get along with most everyone. I'm fairly clean, not obsessed, pretty studious, but also like to relax and go out when there's time.
