Third Thursday Pizza Night

Just some of the many grad students who can be found at Pizza Night Pizza Night, November 2008Third Thursday Pizza Night was a very popular social event of the GSA (second perhaps only to the weekly Friday morning Coffee-Bagel-Donut Day). This monthly event took place on the third Thursday of each month at Woodstock's Pizza (219 G Street). It was a chance to meet new people and eat free pizza. With attendance at the event estimated at 120-200 each month, you were certain to run into old friends and meet a whole lot of new people.

The event was scheduled 6:00-8:00 pm, but the food is not guaranteed to last the full two hours when attendance is high. All were advised to show up early and bring their patience, since the line can get long. However, standing in line is a great chance to chat with those standing around you, since it is a social event with the purpose of getting out and meeting new people after all.

The pizza night was organized by the GSA Public Relations Officer along with her trusty assistant. • No pizza night in December, 2008 (3rd Thursday falls during break)

• May 21, 2009
