How to Use Your Coverage

Vision care is not available at SHS and a referral is not required to access vision benefits. You may receive services from VSP’s Choice Network of providers. To find a list of VSP providers, students enrolled in SHIP may select a doctor using the VSP website: www.vsp.com or calling Member Services at 1.800.877.7195. Once you find a VSP doctor, make your appointment and tell them you have VSP. Check out your coverage on www.vsp.com before you go. Your doctor and VSP will handle the rest.
