The Graduate Student Association (GSA), which represents academic graduate students and professional students, is holding a referendum to increase the GSA fee by $5.15 per quarter. If the referendum is approved, the GSA fee would rise from $12.00 per quarter to $17.15 per quarter beginning in the 2016-2017 academic school year. The GSA Fee has not been changed since 2002. Over the past fourteen years, the graduate and professional student government budget has decreased significantly in real dollar terms.
The referendum voting period begins on Monday, February 22nd at 12:01 a.m. and concludes on Friday, February 26th at 11:59 p.m.
Polling stations will be available at Coffee Bagel Donut Day on February 26.
