The Graduate Student Association (GSA), which represents academic graduate students and professional students, is holding a referendum to increase the GSA fee by $5.40 per quarter. If the referendum is approved, the GSA fee would rise from $12.00 per quarter to $17.40 per quarter beginning in the 2017-2018 academic school year. The GSA Fee has not been changed since 2002. Over the past fifteen years, the graduate and professional student government budget has decreased significantly in real dollar terms.
The referendum voting period begins on Monday, March 13th at 12:01 a.m. and concludes on Monday, April 3rd at 11:59 p.m.
Polling stations will be available at Coffee Bagel Donut Day on March 17th.
