The Elections Committee has opened nominations for GSA Officers! Elections for GSA Officers will be held at the May Assembly Meeting.
Any graduate student who is in a GSA-represented graduate/professional program and is in good standing is eligible to run! You must also be able to serve the entire term from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. Each position has a list of duties which are explained in detail here.
- To nominate a person for a position, please email email@example.com with their name, email, and position to which you are nominating them.
- The committee will contact the nominee to accept their nomination and provide a brief statement.
- To self nominate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, the position you are nominating for, and a brief statement.
Open positions: Chair, Vice Chair, External Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and Public Relations Organizing Director.
If you are interested in the positions, there will be an open house at 3pm on April 18th in PES 2005 where you can come and ask questions of current officers! It is also recommended that you email the current officer of each position.
