Sara is a Ph.D. Candidate in Spanish and Portuguese. Last year, she served as Coffee, Bagel, Donut Day (CBDD) Coordinator, a role she thoroughly enjoyed for the opportunity it gave her to connect more closely with the UC Davis graduate community. This year, as Public Relations Organizing Director, Sara looks forward to continuing her work in support of graduate students by organizing events that foster connection and community, and by exploring new initiatives to help make the graduate school journey a little smoother. In her free time, she enjoys reconstructing medieval and early modern recipes, spending time in nature, catching up with friends over coffee and sweet treats, and quilting.
